Ayyoub Bouaddi continues to shine for Lille, and a report has claimed that AC Milan and Napoli are ready to do battle for him.
As AreaNapoli report, Bouaddi is the new kid on the block in French football. The 17-year-old midfielder has made 10 appearances in Ligue 1 and four more in the UEFA Champions League with Lille this season, with one assist in the league.
Napoli scouts were among those present at the midweek European game between Bologna and Lille, a match in which the French club beat Vincenzo Italiano’s team. It is likely, however, that the Azzurri scouts were there for someone else.
The report claims to have contacted French sources who have confirmed that Lille have already set a very high asking price for the teenager in view of next summer: they want around €40m if they are to think about letting him go.
There have apparently been ‘some contacts with Milan’, while Napoli for the time being are more focused on strengthening their depth in the centre-back and striker positions rather than going for another midfielder.
One thing that past operations have shown us – from Rafael Leao and Mike Maignan to Tiago Djalo – is that Milan and Lille seem to be on good terms.
Bouaddi is a top quality player especially for his age. World class talent. He is worth every penny. 40m is cheap. We should sign Bouaddi, Maldini and Ricci and get rid of RLC and loan out Musah.
AhahahahahahahahahahHH..
