One of the areas that the Milan management will likely intervene in the summer is the left side of the defence, according to a report.
MilanNews report that Milan consider themselves to be well covered at right-back given they have called upon Davide Calabria, Alessandro Florenzi (who should be bought from Roma) and even Pierre Kalulu, who got an assist for Leao in the 2-0 win over Genoa last month.
However, the same abundance of quality is lacking on the left where Theo Hernandez is obviously the undisputed starter but there are doubts about Fodé Ballo-Touré. Since the African Cup of Nations in January, he has played for only four minutes (off the bench against Genoa).
In the absence of Theo, Calabria has adapted from time to time to play on the left and so has Florenzi, which is a sign of flexibility and sacrifice for the team but also that an intervention is probably needed.
