CorSport: Milan continue compiling their list of defensive targets – the names

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are continuing to add names to their list of potential defensive targets for the January transfer window and beyond, with at least four names being monitored.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), one of the very obvious names on the list is that of Juan Miranda, the Real Betis left-back who is the prime choice to be backup to Theo Hernandez either in January or in the summer on a free transfer.

In terms of centre-backs, at least one player is needed to provide cover given the injuries to Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino, as well as the fitness issues of Simon Kjaer.

Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly seems to be the primary target right now, and he could join in January for a fee of around €5m.

Genoa’s Radu Dragusin is another option, but he may be harder to sign. In Switzerland, a Dutch youngster named Finn van Breemen is playing for FC Basel and his name is attracting attention.

    1. We all know how it will go. Moncada evaluating this, Moncada evaluating that, But we all know at the end of the day we won’t be getting any of the names linked here.

  1. I’m sure they can get a couple of kids in from the youth sector then they can start compiling names to replace Pioli which would be more worthwhile.

  2. Milan should just go all in out for Radu Drăgușin. He is very mature, strong and ready as he already know the league.. i am tried of all these foreign try and error players.
