CorSera: Crucial Roma clash provides potential turning point – Milan must leave worries behind

By Oliver Fisher -

Sunday night’s game at the Stadio Olimpico against Roma will be another crucial test of Milan’s top four credentials, one report writes.

Il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) describes the game as another great challenge and another match that will say a lot about the real ambitions of this Milan. The target is still to finish in the top four rather than win the league, but Milan must reverse a recent trend that has seen them losing games in the league without scoring.

At the Olimpico there are key points at stake in the Champions League battle. Roma are a very direct competitor meaning this is a crucial exam, one that cannot be failed. Another defeat, in fact, would complicate everything and officially open a crisis that was unthinkable until a month ago.

Milan until a few weeks ago scored at least two goals per game, but now it seems that everything is staying out of the net. In order to leave the capital with a positive result, that must change, and it is time for the Rossoneri to leave their worries behind.
