Agent Jorge Mendes has offered attacking midfielder James Rodriguez to AC Milan during talks, according to a report.
Milan are looking for an attacking midfielder who can replace Hakan Calhanoglu in Stefano Pioli’s 4-2-3-1 system after Hakan Calhanoglu decided to join city rivals Inter on a free transfer. Even though Brahim Diaz seems set to return from Real Madrid, his presence alone will not be enough as two players in each position are sought.
According to the latest from il Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), Milan are in the market to try and secure a new No.10 who is a big name and would guarantee quality, and in this regard they have had talks with agent Jorge Mendes over James Rodriguez.
The Colombia international is now unsettled at Everton because his mentor Carlo Ancelotti has left to go back to Real Madrid and he was a big reason that the 29-year-old opted to move to Goodison Park, and could therefore change teams.
