CorSera: Milan, Roma and Dortmund competing for striker with €60m asking price

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in the running to land Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic but they face competition both domestically and from clubs abroad.

This morning’s edition of il Corriere della Sera (via PianetaMilan) takes stock of the situation on Vlahovic, who has scored 21 goals in 37 matches between the league and Coppa Italia so far this season. Fiorentina are of course thrilled with the explosion of their talent, and Rocco Commisso – their president – does not intend to sell for less than €60m.

He is also trying to convince Vlahovic to renew his contract with La Viola until 30 June 2025 with a salary of €3m net for season, a big rise from the current €400k. However, the Serbian knows that in the next transfer market he could move to a big club with his agent Darko Ristić having met with Roma.

Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the event that Erling Braut Haaland leaves this summer, while Milan remain at the window too knowing that qualification for the Champions League could allow them to make a big signing in attack.
