CorSera: This Milan never gives up – disallowed goal, woodwork hit four times but comeback still complete

Sunday night’s comeback against Parma showed that this AC Milan team never give up and even in the face of difficulties they can recover situations.

As il Corriere della Sera writes (via MilanNews), the perfect demonstration of that was the game last night, in which the Rossoneri went two goals down, has a goal disallowed, hit the woodwork four times, but in the end recovered a draw.

With this draw Milan remain unbeaten in the league and first in the standings, but what worries most at the moment are the injuries. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Simon Kjaer – whom Pioli hopes to have back for Wednesday’s away match at Genoa – have been joined by Gabbia and Bennacer on the treatment table.

Milan’s reaction to all this bad luck was convincing and testifies even more that this team has grown not only in terms of their style of player, but in terms of mental resilience too.

Last night against Parma, the first Serie A defeat seemed imminent, but a super Theo Hernandez said no. Positive signs as the tide of misfortune continues to try and bring the ship down.
