CorSera: Why Milan are pushing for De Ketelaere over Dybala

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s pursuit of Paulo Dybala seems to have taken a back seat because the management have other plans, according to a report.

There has been a lot of talk in recent weeks of a possible interest from Milan in Dybala, who is now officially a free agent after he left Juventus upon the expiry of his contract on June 30.

Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) writes that the Rossoneri management have certainly made evaluations on Dybala and asked for for information with his entourage given the nature of the opportunity.

However, the Italian champions currently prefer to focus on a young and prospective profile that would weigh less on the salary. They see Club Brugge playmaker Charles De Ketelaere as the perfect profile for their plans, and he is the first name on the wish list as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara continue to work on a deal for the Belgian.

  1. Why do we keep pissing about we need a midfielder striker and a defender go out and bloody sign them time for action or again we will be to late like the botman saga

  2. i mean if u buy a player 20m + 2.5m x 5 years = 32.5m salary

if u get for free 6m per year for 5 years = 30m salary

so on paper, the cost obtaining both players is almost the same.
but, offering an outsider a top wage might disrupt club harmony though
