CorSport: De Ketelaere could start vs. Atalanta but not as the playmaker

Stefano Pioli is thinking of shuffling the pack in view of the match against Atalanta on Sunday night which could be good news for Charles De Ketelaere.

One of the players less on the ball in the opening match against Udinese was Junior Messias, which is why the coach could choose a different option according to Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), who launch the idea that De Ketelaere could start in Bergamo.

However, he could be on the right instead of the trequartista position. Pioli is unlikely to bench Brahim Diaz after his performance against Udinese, so it is easier to imagine a trio of Rafael Leao, Brahim Diaz and De Ketelaere behind Olivier Giroud, even if dropping Ante Rebic will be hard too.

The Belgian playing on the right would demonstrate the versatility that Pioli knew that he could bring when he arrived at the club in a deal worth €35m including bonuses from Club Brugge.
