CorSport: Kalulu’s future must be resolved after difficult beginning – the latest idea

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could let Pierre Kalulu leave on loan in the January transfer window in order for him to get more playing time, a report claims.

Kalulu was Milan’s first new signing of the summer as the French right-back joined on a free transfer from Lyon. When he arrived, a number of reports claimed he would begin him time in the Primavera, but he started and remained with the senior squad.

Nonetheless, a couple of months down the line and Milan fans are beginning to question what has happened to Kalulu, given that he continues to be named in matchday squads but has not had a minute of competitive game time.

According to what is being reported by il Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), the resurgence of Davide Calabria and the loan signing of Diogo Dalot have somewhat blocked the path for Kalulu, as well as Andrea Conti.

Therefore, for Kalulu it seems that a loan exit is being considered – possibly to a club in Serie A – so he can find some consistent playing time somewhere to aid his development. The management will work in the next few weeks to find the right accommodation in the former Lyon starlet.
