AC Milan are looking to offload Fode Ballo-Toure this summer and they may already have his replacement lined up, according to a report.
Ballo-Toure has never really convinced as the deputy to Theo Hernandez since his arrival from Monaco two summers ago, and that is why the management could look to upgrade that position ahead of the new campaign.
As Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes today, a new club is is being sought for Ballo-Toure with Milan no longer considering him a part of their plans.
To replace him, Milan have started talks with Salernitana to try and understand Pasquale Mazzocchi’s situation. The Campania side, on the other hand, are interested in both Daniel Maldini and Marco Brescianini.
Mazzocchi is a versatile player that can play either as a left-back or as a right-back too, which makes him similar to Diogo Dalot who deputised both full-back positions during his loan from Manchester United.
