CorSport: Milan enter Haaland race with Raiola enquiry; Man Utd, Juventus among competition

By Oliver Fisher -

Another report has emerged on Thursday claiming that AC Milan are among the clubs interested in signing Red Bull Salzburg star Erling Haaland.

Alfredo Pedulla provided a shock report on Tuesday night when he claimed that Milan have entered the Haaland sweepstakes by offering the teenager a salary of €5.5m-a-year for five years.

He added that Paolo Maldini is the one pushing for the signing, with the director keen on wrapping up a €30million deal next month.

However, it was also revealed that Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester United are in the running, as are Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and OGC Nice.

According to il Corriere dello Sport – as cited by Calciomercato.com – Milan have indeed made enquiries with Mino Raiola about Haaland.

No more information is given, other than that there will be strong competition from Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Manchester United, Juventus and Napoli.

The 19-year-old has netted 28 goals in 22 appearances for RB Salzburg this season, attracting the interest of a number of Europe’s top clubs.
