AC Milan want to secure Christian Pulisic’s future at the club with a contract extension after his incredible start to life in northern Italy.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), Milan are well aware that Pulisic was their best signing of the 2023 summer transfer window and he has already outgrown the contract he signed less than a year ago.

He has got 13 goals this season in all competitions which is more than he has ever managed before in one season, and he has also got six assists to his name. He will almost certainly be Milan’s player of the season.

His deal actually runs until June 2027 which means there should not be any rush to secure his future, but Milan have an option to extend it until 2028 and they are contemplating exercising that option in the near future.

Pulisic certainly seems to be very settled at Milan given he is in the best form of his life, so there should be little concern from his side about the extension.

Considering Milan are on track to qualify for the Champions League, it may not be long before Pulisic asks for a new contract altogether to better represent how important he is to the team.

    1. Agreed. Not sure why they are trying to extend him into his first year of a 4 year contract.

Is there need to “show faith” in him already? just signed the man. Let him play.
