CorSport: Milan increasingly frustrated as Origi and Rebic reject Turkey move

Ante Rebic is expected to leave AC Milan this summer after ending up on bad terms with head coach Stefano Pioli. The Rossoneri are also hoping to offload Divock Origi, but both are playing hardball.

Both Rebic and Origi had a very disappointing 2022/23 season and Milan have made it clear that they will do everything to reinforce the squad this summer. The duo, as such, is no longer in the plans of Pioli.

As reported by today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), some clubs have expressed their interest in the players, particularly Turkish ones. However, both Rebic and Origi have rejected the idea of moving to Turkey.

It remains to be seen what the outcome will be, therefore, as Milan really are keen on offloading both before the end of the summer. There have been some rumours suggesting that Origi could move to Saudi Arabia, but there is nothing concrete on that front yet.
