CorSport: Milan launch opening offer of €20m for midfield target Maldini and Massara like

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made a first offer for Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara who they have targeted to replace Soualiho Meite, a report claims.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via news.in24), Kamara could leave Olympique Marseille this summer and land in Serie A, with Milan having made a first bid of €20m to land the 21-year-old. The fact that the Rossoneri have qualified for the Champions League unlike Marseille is a bonus, plus there is also the factor that he only has a contract until 2022.

Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara constantly have their eye on Ligue 1 for potential reinforcements as seen with the arrivals of Rafael Leao, Pierre Kalulu and also Mike Maignan this summer. The interest of Milan is particularly concrete and the first offer being €20m shows just how serious they are. Now, we wait for word of an official response from the French club.

  1. Pls sign this kid. Amazing talent plays years beyond his age. Can play def mid and CB. Strong buy. Him and Tonali would be excellent backups to Kessie and Benacer and future starters in case either are sold.
