CorSport: Milan evaluate loan and €12m man as alternatives to Torino star

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking for a central defender and they have Alessandro Buongiorno from Torino as their main objective, a report claims, but alternatives are being evaluated due to cost.

Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) reports that Milan face an uphill battle to sign Buongiorno because Urbano Cairo does not want to sell him in January, with €30-35m the asking price, but he could be a name for the summer.

Thus, other options are being looked into and the agents of Tanguy Nianzou Kouassi of Sevilla offered their client to the Rossoneri management, who in turn are evaluating whether to try sign him on loan for six months.

One of the considerations is that when Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori return from their respective injuries, they will still be Milan’s starters until the end of this season providing that they do not get hurt again, of course.

Nianzou is a profile that has already been linked to Milan in the past, when he broke through into the senior side at PSG before ending up moving on a free transfer at Bayern Munich.

Furthermore, the Rossoneri have been looking at Lilian Brassier for several weeks too, as Geoffrey Moncada seemed to admit. However, they want €12m to sell so the operation could only come to fruition in the event of a reduction in economic demands.

  1. Moncada and Furlani are just TWO CLOWNS WHO HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO SIGN PLAYERS THAT MILAN REALLY NEED.
MY ONLY WISH AND HOPE IS FOR IBRA TO GET RID OF THEM BOTH STRAIGHTAWAY. THEN MILAN WILL START BEING SERIOUS AND STOP ACTING LIKE IDIOTS NOT KNOWING WHICH WAY TO GO.
