CorSport: Milan to close arrival of playmaker by end of June on €12m net deal

AC Milan are expected to wrap up an important signing for the attacking department before the end of the month, according to a report.

According to the latest from Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Daichi Kamada is ever closer to becoming a Milan player as he will arrive on free transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt when his deal expires at the end of the month.

He is currently busy with the Japanese national team, but should fly to Milan at the end of the month to sort out the final details, complete his medical and sign his contract.

Speaking of the contract, the Rossoneri have reached a verbal agreement over a four-year contract with a net salary of €3m per season, which is therefore €12m net which will work out at close to €16m gross.

All that remains is for the agreement in principle to turn into pen on paper, which should come before the end of June.

  1. This is good business and before someone brings up arguements between Mr America and maldini i honestly don’t care I’m just saying this is good business

  2. I am not try to be a racist or anything cause myself also an asian but how an asian can carry the weight of attacking departement big club like milan, not because the racist thing or lack of skill but simply because the mentality and consistency of asian footballer that slightly below european or south american, different story if he come for subtitute or commercial purpose. Maybe iam wrong and i hope iam wrong, its just a tought, welcome kamada, forza milan

    1. Every person is unique. Just because – let’s say – 99.9% of certain people don’t have the mentality and consistency doesn’t mean the rest of them lack ’em too. Don’t judge one based on where he came from. Innocent until proven guilty you know. 🙂

    2. Um ever heard of Son Heung-Min? Park Ji-Sung? Mehdi Taremi? Shunsuke Nakamura? Shinji Kagawa? Hidetoshi Nakata? Paulino Alcantara?

Try to Google them. Especially the last one. You’ll be surprised maybe.

    3. Let’s be real, he’s not going to “carry the weight of Milan’s attacking department”, we have Leao for that. He will fill the depth. IF ( a big if) the plan goes well, we will add one RW, one AM and Kamada. It’s decent enough rotation. Even if we’re not. He is on par with Brahim.

    4. Well look at Kim from Napoli and Son at Spurs. Under the right coach they can become integral for their team. They may not be renowned but there some exceptional talent.

    5. Time will tell. Good observation, though. Hope we get the best out of him, as we have done with Theo, Tomori, Thiaw, etc.
