CorSport: Milinkovic-Savic back on Milan’s radar – another battle with Inter

By Oliver Fisher -

It seems that AC Milan are linked with a move for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic every day, and today is no exception to that rule.

According to this morning’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), the Milan management will use the money gained from the sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle to improve their midfield quality and depth.

Davide Frattesi of Sassuolo is one target, but the Rossoneri seem willing to rival Inter for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic who is leaving Lazio, with whom he has only one year left on his current contract.

The Serbia international was an option that was more being explored by Paolo Maldini before he was sacked at the beginning of the month.

Juventus and admirers in the Premier League are also keen on signing Milinkovic-Savic. Nonetheless, the paper does state that the two Milan clubs are ahead of Juve at the moment when it comes to their pursuit.

  1. Nevermind age, and that he’s a hot head. He’s been at Lazio for over 5 years and he’s actually a world class midfielder. This guy will greatly improve our midfield for the next 4 years. Get him right away.

      1. It’s heading that way but it’s not as bad as French, Dutch or Belgian which is where our signings will come from.

  2. Tonali is currently having his medical in romania with his agent present and newcastle medical experts…bye tonali, I know that you wil come back one day
