AC Milan are on the hunt to sign a striker during the January transfer window and Serhou Guirassy’s name is climbing the list of options, a report claims.
Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) talks about an idea that Geoffrey Moncada and his team have had for the attack, and it is Guirassy of Stuttgart who has a release clause of €17.5m in his contract.
If Milan were to pay this amount in January, they will in theory be able to sign him as long as the player himself agrees to the move and the personal terms attached. There is no shortage of competition though, with Premier League clubs asking for information.
It is no surprise given that he has scored 18 goals in 13 games for Stuttgart across league and cup. There are evaluations underway on Milan’s part, but they have to convince Guirassy who wants to end the season in Germany.
There would have already been talks with chief scout Geoffrey Moncada who would have met the player in person in a recent Bundesliga match.
