AC Milan steamed to victory against AS Roma in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday night – the management are over the moon with the result, and there is a big reason why.
Things are not going well domestically for Milan this season, this is something known by all parties and is a large reason for the mercato investment in January. However, there is still a lot of time to rectify things, and the Rossoneri have made a few steps towards that in January.
The Supercoppa Italiana success kickstarted the month, but inconsistencies between then and now frustrated fans. Against Roma though, there were no signs of this Diavolo, instead they were clinical.
Then, they were further empowered by the new signings Santiago Gimenez and Joao Felix, with the duo even combining to score the final Milan goal of the evening. In fact, their performances and the response to them were greatly ‘appreciated’ by the management, as Milan News write.
With the manner of both debuts, San Siro was back to its best, with fans on side supporting the team rather than voicing frustrations, and the credit for this lies with the actions taken during the mercato.
Frustrations about sustainability have often boiled over, but with the club putting their money where their mouth is, the frustrations have settled slightly, and support was voiced once again.
Something felt very different around milan this game. Even when I search the internet there’s this new aura in what a power house milan have become. But it’s true it’s like conceicao is this top manager that’s well respected. The players are superstars and everything at milan is great.
Im happy with this new found motivation but we need results now to back it up.
Yes, Milan plus +10 aura points. Kr
We’ve spent wisely, and we are reaping the rewards. Not just the result last night, but the overall game play. The excitement in the team, and among fans. Fans are beginning to believe again, and, sales from the stores have gone up significantly. Our money is working for us. Thanks, Ibra and co for bringing in the right players. Forza, Milan!!!
Attitudes just seemed different and better. I think with reinforcements Conceicao has a chance. He just inherited a bad situation. Now, it doesn’t mean all is well, as we still have some issues, but attitude and hard work makes a big difference.
Not to rain on the inevitable parade, BUT one game does not a trophy make. Roma’s not a proper measuring stick at this point. Particularly with a 36 year old Hummels running like the Tin Man from Oz as their center of defence.
I’m super excited to see the full might of our new attack and the RB improvement is clear.
We need to see this confidence backed up with some consistency before we go tooting the horn about suddenly being back to status as a European Powerhouse.
That said, I can’t wait 4

Potential new owners this June may just make that statement more realistic also I see oak Tree have found Inter Milan new owners now that could be a turning point not just for Inter but the league it self.
Milan are building a proper team now win the new signings on January.
I refuse to give credit to Milan management because after a long summer and knowing that they will replace Pioli they did not act proactively to get the right coach and the right players to improve the squad.
They took the cheap route and they showed a lack of ambition when they considered coaches like Lopotegui and Fonseca knowing that coaches like Conceição, Conte and Sarri were available.
All of these coaches are far better than Lopetegui and Fonseca combined. So now they are fixing their mistakes because we risk losing the revenues from the Champions League next season.
This is the only reason they decided to act now in the January transfer window. It all comes down to profit and losses.
But these bozos don’t understand that you have to invest money to make money. Last summer Milan mercato was garbage except for Fofana.
They acted like a midtable team and that’s why we are currently in 8th place in the league.
I still believe Milan need a proper Sporting Director and we still need reinforcements this summer.
Ricci, Lewis Ferguson, Orsolini and a proper backup at RB is still needed for Milan to compete next season.
I expect RLC, Chukwueze, Emerson and Jovic to leave this summer. If Abraham continues to score goals now that he has competition and better players like Joao Felix then we can sign him.
If he doesn’t continue scoring then we will need another striker like Lorenzo Lucca from Udinese or Krstovic from Leece before I can credit this Milan management.
Orsolini and Ferguson 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What it has brought, is belief, which has been lacking for a while now. If we can put a string of results together, then belief and confidence is a difficult train to stop..
