Daily Mail: Milan in talks over Spurs and Norwich duo but face competition from Barcelona

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still in talks with Tottenham over defender Serge Aurier and have made an enquiry about Norwich City right-back Max Aarons, a report claims.

It seemed as though Milan would go into the new season with Davide Calabria as the starting right-back despite the struggles in that particular area last season, but over the past 48 hours speculation has surfaced suggesting the signing of a new right-sided defender is in the club’s plans.

According to the Daily Mail, Milan are in talks over Aurier and Spurs are happy to sell the Ivorian after Matt Doherty’s arrival in North London, but they are still to receive a suitable bid for the former PSG man.

Milan are also keen on Max Aarons of Norwich, but the 20-year-old is waiting to see if a move to Barcelona could materialise, with the Nou Camp club having seen a £20m bid rejected.

Roma are also keen on Aarons though Norwich are not willing to loan him out.
