AC Milan face competition from the Premier League to sign Rav van den Berg as Brentford are in talks, according to a report.

According to the Daily Mail, Brentford have opened talks with PEC Zwolle over the signing of the 18-year-old defender, who is the younger brother of Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg and players for the Netherlands’ U20 side.

Roma are also keen and wanted to sign him during the January transfer window but he opted to remain, and he has now made 28 senior appearances for PEC Zwolle, but a sale this summer is possible it seems.

The teenager is also apparently attracting the interest of Liverpool, Milan, Bayern Munich and Ajax who have all been watching him closely, but Brentford are aiming to move ahead of time and seal the deal.

Van den Berg made his first-team debut for PEC Zwolle on 1 May 2021, starting in a 2–1 league defeat to SBV Vitesse at the age of 16 years and 298 days
