Record: Benfica star changes agent ahead of the summer – Milan, Arsenal and Atletico keen

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have once again been touted as one of many elite European clubs who are in the market to sign Benfica striker Darwin Nunez.

Record (via MilanNews) report how the 23-year-old striker announced on his social media that he had terminated his professional relationship with agent Edgardo Lasalvia and it seems as though the super-agent Jorge Mendes will now be looking after his future, including a potential summer move.

The Portuguese newspaper claims that Premier League clubs are pressing above all such as Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham, but on the player there are also the eyes of Juventus, Milan and Inter, as well as Atletico Madrid.

Lasalvia will get 10% of the value of Nunez’s next transfer as part of the compensation for the termination of his contract as agent, but the forward’s old club Almeria are entitled to 20% on the proceeds of a future resale.

For this reason – although the starting price was set at €60m – the Portuguese club will unlikely be satisfied with a figure of less than €80m.
