De Laurentiis complains about Napoli-Milan officiating: “The referees weren’t good” – video

Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of Napoli, has once again taken shots at the officiating during the two legs against AC Milan in the Champions League.

Napoli were crowned champion of Italy yesterday for the third time in their history and De Laurentiis was interviewed by CBS Sports to reflect on the success, but he couldn’t resist revisiting their defeat against Milan in Europe.

“Hopefully we’ve started a new era, and next year, and next year again, but now we have to win the Champions League, and we’ll try if the referees won’t stop us,” he said.

“We’re out because twice the referees weren’t good, but this is UEFA. We were the strongest in the Champions League. We will try again next year and in the coming years.”

  1. Lol 😂 he’s lucky there was even a second leg to play for so we didn’t hv to rest 10 players

Anyways congratulations to Napoli. Fully deserved their Scudetto. 👏

  2. Blaming Uefa even though they are a pavk of jackals, for sure helps a lot…smart move from him…for aure they will be generous with him from now on:))…how to have idiots like that managing a club when he’s shooting himself in the foot…In italy a lot of people need to grow, not only the ones with low social position…

  3. LOL. Such a delusional crybaby. Pathetic. Napoli are out because out of the 4 matches between the two teams, Milan was better in all four. Napoli managed to win just once and even then they were been dominated 100-0 but managed to score twice from 2 chances.
