Romano: A ‘decision’ on future of Milan-linked Arsenal striker ‘will be made’

By Oliver Fisher -

A decision will be made at the end of the season regarding the future of Folarin Balogun together with Arsenal amid links with AC Milan, it is claimed.

It is well known that Milan are on the hunt for a striker ahead of the summer given the age of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud plus the struggles of Divock Origi thus far. The management have several names on their list, which you can read more about here, but one of them is believed to be Balogun.

In a tweet, journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote the following: “Top season for Folarin Balogun on loan at Reims: 16 goals, 21 years old and top numbers. Arsenal picked Reims as the best loan option with player’s agents – decision on his future will be made at the end of the season.”

The 21-year-old was born in New York and is of Nigerian descent, but he grew up in London as he moved there when he was two. It seems that Milan will have to be patient if they want to have a chance at landing the young forward and wait for a decision from the Gunners, who already have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah in that role.
