Di Marzio: Details of Milan’s offer for Kabak emerge as Rossoneri continue to work on deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are persisting with their attempts to try and agree a deal with Schalke 04 for centre-back Ozan Kabak but there is still a substantial distance.

According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan have made Kabak a concrete target for the defence and have in fact presented an offer to the Bundesliga club totalling €15m.

It consists of €12m fixed and €2m in bonuses, however there is still a gap between the offer and the demands of the Bundesliga club, something which was confirmed in Saturday’s meeting with the player’s agents at Casa Milan.

The German club have in fact always asked for €25m, and have never gone down from that price tag. Milan are trying anyway in the knowledge that it won’t be easy, but they clearly believe that they can make a breakthrough hence the persistent attempts.

Meanwhile, Pietro Balzano Prota notes that there is ‘greater optimism’ regarding the operation, with Milan pushing to strike a deal.
