Di Marzio explains Kamada delay and admits deal is not fully completed

By Oliver Fisher -

The well-known transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio has clarified why there might be a delay in Daichi Kamada’s arrival at AC Milan.

Several sources reported that Kamada could arrive in Italy for a medical next week ahead of a move to Milan, but now it seems things have been delayed.

Calciomercato.com reported that the playmaker has promised himself to Milan over Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, but there are some small bureaucratic hitches that might push back his arrival.

More specifically, they mentioned a ‘bureaucratic problem linked to the Japanese player’s agents’ as being behind the slowdown compared to the initial schedule for Kamada’s arrival at Milan.

Di Marzio was asked by a Milan fan about the possibility of Kamada’s arrival not happening, and he responded on Twitter to clarify why the time scale might not be as quick as some had hoped.

“Sometimes there are dynamics that go beyond set agreements. For example, his agents must register their position in Italy in order to complete the operation and it is not a matter of a few days,” he said.

“And it is one of the things that is missing, in addition to the signatures. But is the negotiation at risk? All negotiations are at risk if you don’t have the signatures, I’ve discovered this on my skin for many years. And you should know that too.”

  1. “All negotiations are at risk if you don’t have the signatures[.]” And that’s really all there is to say.

  2. Cool we buy him for bench keeping, just because of free transfer? Or ensure that 36 mio invest cdk was for nothing…intresting way of thinking
