Di Marzio: Milan and Crotone reach agreement over €4.5m deal for winger

By Oliver Fisher -

Further confirmations have arrived stating that AC Milan will soon complete the permanent signing of Junior Messias from Crotone.

The Brazilian winger arrived on loan from Crotone with an option to buy and thus achieve his dream of playing for a great club, even managing to score big goals like the decisive one against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

However, Messias’ contribution to the Rossoneri has been somewhat inconsistent, which raised doubts about whether his loan would be turned into a permanent deal.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews), Milan have reached an agreement over the signing of the 31-year-old from Crotone, who were relegated to Serie C after a disastrous return to the second tier.

For the winger, the Rossoneri are ready to invest an amount equal to €4.5m plus bonuses which constitutes a discount of around €1m compared to what was initially agreed last summer.

    1. Well his output doesn’t really say he is below average, you just made that up. More like average, good backup. His stats from this season are not much worse than Leao’s from last season.

      1. I’m with you crorosso. Messias, as far as i’m concern can not be regarded as below average. He may not be having goals as a winger but his imput can not be under-rated compared to Diaz as an AM where precision and control of ball is a problem. We need him in Milan for other tactical formations depending on the technical formation of a particular game. Beside, this is his first season professionally.

  1. €6.0M + bonuses if Monza stays in Serie A. Reinvest directly into Lang for €18m + Bonuses to take it to €20M. The money would discount the Lang to a €12-14M operation for a potential stud RW.

    Seems top easy
