Hamed Junior Traorè could return to Serie A and AC Milan are one of the teams that are thinking about bringing him back to Italy, according to a report.

Gianluca Di Marzio writes on his website that the former Sassuolo player may well end up back in Serie A because he is not finding playing time at Bournemouth and he has a market in Italy where several teams are admirers.

Lazio are keen but they must first free up a slot for non-EU players. The Biancocelesti are also thinking of him because of Luis Alberto’s injury and Daichi Kamada’s absence due to the Asian Cup. Napoli and Fiorentina also like the Ivorian attacking midfielder.

The same goes for Milan, given that the Africa Cup of Nations which will deprive them of Ismael Bennacer and Samuel Chukwueze, and with Tommaso Pobega’s four-month injury too.

Traorè left Serie A in the winter transfer window of 2023. Initially he had signed with the English club on an initial loan deal from Sassuolo but last summer he was permanently bought by Bournemouth.

The 23-year-old has played just 13 times for the Cherries, scoring one goal, while he had 18 goals and 11 assists in 111 appearances with Sassuolo. He can play as an attacking midfielder, a box-to-box player or out wide.

  1. They wasted his talent being in that mess of a league where they have more money than sense, he was really promising, bring him back. Just look at Chelsea, they spent a billion, and let players like Tomori etc walk, they would lose to our bottom 4 the way they play. I’m a bookie, so I can see who goes where, and that Chelsea team plays slower than any team in Serie A. They would legitimately get relegated from our league. Take it from my experience in my work as a man who’s life is betting for the past 25 years. They don’t survive Serie A.

    1. This was that kid that played really well for Sassuolo, and look what he is now, Premier League kills talent which is why I don’t want our kids to go to that league..and Tonali showed all he cares about is money, betting and everything else. I thought he was going to be the next Albertini.
