Di Marzio: Milan have priority in deal for €35m Juventus man

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have priority over other interested clubs should they decide to make a move for Merih Demiral, a report claims.

It was first reported back in July by RAI Sport (via Football Italia) that Demiral could move to San Siro this summer.

Sky Italia (as cited by Milannews.it) then stated on Monday that Milan are back in to sign the Turkey international and were willing to offer €35m.

Then, a shock report from SportMediaset claimed that there is the possibility of a swap deal involving Suso and Demiral.

Now, Gianluca Di Marzio has offered an update, telling ‘Calciomercato l’Originale’ on Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it) that there is an opening for a possible deal.

He stated: “Demiral is an opportunity, it would be an extra purchase that Milan could do in the case that Juventus do not sell Rugani, who is wanted by Roma.

“The agents have agreed since June that if the player [Demiral] were to leave Juventus, Milan would have priority over all.”
