Di Marzio: Milan and Inter set for another mercato derby over Udinese star

By Oliver Fisher -

There could be yet another transfer market derby between AC Milan and Inter with Lazar Samardzic the subject, according to a report.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the battle between Milan and Inter in the transfer window seems destined to continue after the Marcus Thuram, Davide Frattesi and Yunus Musah because both clubs have also set their sights on Samardzic.

In recent days the Rossoneri started contacts with Udinese regarding the future of the Serbian midfielder and the possibility of making a move. However, Samardzic is also on the list of midfielders the Nerazzurri are interested in.

The Udinese playmaker had an excellent season with the Friulian club. In 39 appearances amassed across Serie A and the Coppa Italia – which testify his importance to head coach Andrea Sottil – he registered five goals and four assists.

Milan are still searching for a No.10 to replace Brahim Diaz and while there were rumours of Daichi Kamada’s possible arrival things seem to have gone colder on that front.

    1. No need to overspend for the sake of just buying players.

If they happen to overspend and increase their debt it’s their problem, not us.

    2. It’s so obvious that Inter are papering over the cracks.

Look at the players they will loose and they will still be in debt, Onana, Skinner, Brozovic amongst others Frattasi and Thuram will no way be enough for them. Their strength was there depth of squad, that is going to take a big hit.
