Di Marzio: Milan offered chance to sign Argentine playmaker and midfielder with huge clause

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan were offered the chance to sign two exciting young midfielders during Wednesday’s round of meetings with agents, it is claimed.

Portuguese agent Bruno Carvalho Santos arrived at Casa Milan on Wednesday afternoon for a market meeting with the Rossoneri hierarchy, and journalist Gianluigi Longari claimed that Milan have enquired about signing Florentino Luis.

The 20-year-old has made 11 competitive appearances for the Benfica first team and is widely reported to have a release clause of over €100m (most say €120m).

According to Gianluca Di Marzio – as cited by MilanNews.it Florentino was indeed offered to the Rossoneri hierarchy during Wednesday’s meetings at Casa Milan.

Di Marzio adds that Milan want to make important purchases, especially in view of the summer.

Meanwhile, he adds that playmaker Matias Zaracho of Argentine side Racing Club has also been offered to Milan, a player who has been linked numerous times since the summer.

Zaracho has three goals and one assist in 15 league games this season, and is represented by Augustin Jimenez, the same agent who looks after Angel Correa and Rodrigo De Paul.
