Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that AC Milan are serious about signing Domenico Berardi from Sassuolo this summer, and gave an update on other targets too.
Di Marzio spoke in the Sky studio (via MilanNews) and stated that it ‘could be Berardi’s summer to leave’ and that he is attracting the interest of Milan and Roma, the latter for if Nicolo Zaniolo were to leave.
Gianluca Scamacca meanwhile is not a target for the Rossoneri at the moment but one certainly is that the club will sign a central defender, with Sven Botman at the top of the list and the closest to joining at the moment. There have been several meetings and there is scope for agreement with Lille.
Di Marzio believes that Milan will sign a big-name midfielder, with the farewell of Franck Kessie, and also a winger with quality like Berardi. In attack there is the possibility of signing Origi, but it is not a done deal because ‘there was an offer and a counter offer’.
