AC Milan are still interested in the idea of signing Cengiz Under should Roma make him available between now and the summer, a report claims.
Under was repeatedly linked with a move to the Rossoneri during the January transfer window, with Caciomercato.com reporting that Zvonomir Boban even held talks with his representatives and that the player was pushing for a to move to the Rossoneri.
The report adds that Stefano Pioli is keen on signing the 22-year-old as he fits into numerous formations such as the 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2 (if more attacking).
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s update for Sky Italia – as cited by MilanNews.it – if Roma were to say that Under is on the market, Milan would certainly be ready to try sign him again.
Di Marzio claims that there are excellent relationships between Milan and the winger’s agent, Ramadani, but due to Nicolo Zaniolo’s injury the Giallorossi were not happy to facilitate Under’s exit last month.
There was talk of a Suso-Under exchange with Juan Jesus in the operation, but those never really took off, however Milan have not forgotten about the Turkey international.
