Di Marzio journalist claims Tomori’s Milan renewal is imminent – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan should soon be able to announce the extension of Fikayo Tomori’s contract after an agreement was reached, a report claims.

Fabrizio Romano reported that renewal talks are ongoing and that Tomori is ‘in love with the club’ and is also ‘prepared to stay for many years’. Calciomercato.com stated that Manchester United have shown some interest in the ex-Chelsea man he gave instructions to his entourage not to listen to any other offers, because he wants to stay.

According to Luca Bendoni of the Di Marzio team, Milan should soon be able to follow up the announcement of Tommaso Pobega’s contract extension with that of Tomori’s too, as the Englishman will be ‘the next one’ to renew.

He adds that the deal is ‘at an advanced stage’ with ‘no problems over personal terms’. There is an ‘agreement in principle’ over a new contract which will be ‘valid until 2027’. Not only that, but ‘he should sign next week’.
