Di Marzio: Why Milan are ‘really confident’ of beating PSG in race for Thuram

AC Milan are doing all they can to convince Marcus Thuram to join on a free transfer and what filters at the moment is confidence, a report claims.

According to the latest from Sky journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are actively trying to improve their attacking options going into next season and the number one target is Thuram, who will leave Borussia Mönchengladbach on a free.

The Rossoneri are doing everything possible to convince the 25-year-old to move back to Italy, given that Thuram was born in Parma where his father Lillian was playing at the time.

Di Marzio adds that the Rossoneri management are insisting on the economic aspect by offering to make him a top earner but also from a playing point of view with a starting spot available to him.

Milan are waiting for an answer while Thuram also weighs up bids from PSG and RB Leipzig, but the Rossoneri are ‘really confident’ that they can get the signing over the line.

  1. He’s going to make more from either of the other options on the table and he’d be a starter at those two too – especially if MBappe is upping and leaving Paris in 12 months.

  2. i know that havertz is not affordable for us, but this guy would be perfect for us, super high football IQ and super strong with back to goal – we do not have a profile with such skills….
