Dida believes Milan can ‘aim for the Scudetto’ thanks to summer business: “Allegri has already won”

There is confidence brewing about AC Milan this summer, and legendary goalkeeper Dida has claimed the Scudetto could return. 

Work is already well underway to repair the issues of last season. In every department, there were faults with Milan. From the mercato to the matches, frustrations were regularly present, so a reset was needed this summer.

Massimiliano Allegri arrived, as has Igli Tare, and together, they are implementing a plan for success. However, they are not alone.

Summer signings

Tare and Allegri stand as the first additions of the summer, but more incomings are certainly needed. Luka Modric, by all accounts, should be the first, but there are six ‘starters’ sought by the duo to recover the Rossoneri to their rightful place.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Dida commented on the current situation of the Diavolo and how Allegri can be aided further with support in the mercato, as Radio Rossonera relays today.

“I see him well. When a team doesn’t do well, it’s normal to change. Allegri has already won at Milan; he knows the environment and knows what responsibility he has. New signings will also arrive to try to win the championship and return to the Champions League.”
