AC Milan face competition for the signing of Matias Zaracho, a report claims, with Borussia Dortmund ready to make a bid.
The Rossoneri have been persistently linked with a move for Zaracho since last summer, the reliable Fabrizio Romano recently reported that the interest was very much mutual between the player and the club.
He actually claimed late last month that the playmaker has already given his approval regarding a move to Europe, and the Milan option has intrigued him for some time after having demonstrated his qualities in South America.
However, given the various uncertainties surrounding the Rossoneri at present – including who will be the next head coach and sporting director – things seem to be on hold.
According to Todofichajes.com, Dortmund are ready to take advantage of the situation by making a €20m bid for the playmaker.
The German club are likely to sell Jadon Sancho to the Premier League and want to be ready with a talented substitute, and the 22-year-old South American is one of the profiles in the viewfinder.
