AC Milan are battling Eredivisie giants PSV Eindhoven and Ajax for the signing of a PEC Zwolle defender, according to reports from the Netherlands.
The Rossoneri’s owners Elliott Management have thus far deployed a recruitment strategy focused on buying young players with high potential and developing them in order to record capital gains on the balance sheet.

That strategy is expected to continue under prospective new manager Ralf Rangnick, as the German has a track record of developing youngsters into stars.
According to Dutch newspaper De Stentor (via Calciomercato.com), the Rossoneri are keeping a close eye on PEC Zwolle’s 15-year-old defender Rav van den Berg.
He is also wanted by PSV and Ajax and is the younger brother of Sepp, a player who left Zwolle for Liverpool, but Rav has apparently snubbed the chance to join his sibling on Merseyside having agreed a new deal.
