Giornale: Dybala would join Milan over Inter – the Rossoneri are pondering an offer

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are pondering making an offer to Paulo Dybala who is set to leave Juventus at the end of the season, according to a report.

According to reports from Il Giornale (via PianetaMilan), Inter have made Dybala a concrete offer worth €6m net per season plus bonuses. However, he wants to wait and see what other offers come in even though the idea of joining the Nerazzurri is not something that he excludes.

The paper even reports that the Argentine would more gladly accept a similar offer from Milan and the Rossoneri management are considering putting a bid in, knowing that they could landing a quality playmaker who knows the league well and would arrive without a transfer fee involved.

However, Roma, Atlético Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are also ready to provide competition for ‘La Joya’, though it seems at the moment nothing is decided regarding his future.

  1. Dybala to replace diaz and Nkuku on the right to replace saelemaekers and messias would be awesome

Leao – Dybala – Nkuku, behind Giroud or a new striker would be amazing

  2. all players we need are free agent this year
Boubacar Kamara as defensive midfielder + defender
Paulo Dybala as attacking midfielder + striker
    Ousmane Dembele as right winger
and all of them are world class players
use the transfer budget on Christopher Nkunku or Darwin Nunez or Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

    1. No way dembele has reasonable economic demands. Forget him, if the new owners want a sustainable long term strategy.

I’m a little confused by the Dybala loving in this thread, yes he’s wayyyy better than Diaz but is he really an AMC ? I see him as a 2nd striker, I doubt he’s effective in midfield. Piolis tactics need a no.10 more in the Bernardo Silva mould, ie very much a midfielder not an attacker.

Comments welcome, not knocking Dybalas ability but he would suit Inters formation better as 2nd striker in 3-5-2

      1. Well we obviously were not looking for a playmaker in AMC when we picked Diaz, but a player who can come into the box and score. Dybala is perfect to play with a big striker in front of him.

  3. It would be such a satisfaction to steal him from merdinters hands, and he would perfectly fit in our play style as AM

  4. Sure he’s a good player but is he Milan material?

Outside Crespo, i don’t think there’s Argentina players who have good records with Milan. From Redondo, Coloccini, Chamot, Higuain, Jose Mauri, Maxi Lopez, etc all failed.

    1. Brazilian more success in AC Milan while Argentinian most of them failed in AC Milan . Like you said, i only see Crespo perform good in AC Milan . But let’s see if Dybala can perform as number 10 replace brahim, his long shoot and free kick are good

  5. dybala is really cool, but far to old for us! do not leave the youth way …..Milan fly cause of 22 year old leao and tonali!!

    1. How come 28 is way too old? 28 is a prime age. Where you get skill, experience and composure. Yes, if you play fifa or pes 28 y.o player is starting to stall their growth. But this is real life football, where skill has to be combined with experience and composure. Old is 32+.

  6. We must get dybala and Diaz would be his sub, we really need a number 10 we can’t be playing kessie at that position we must sign him he can take free kicks, he can shoot from far, he can drible pass players and he has good quality sign him.

  7. Easy decision for that wages. He is asking less than Cashie, less than what Ibrahimović gets. I didn’t expect Dybala to have such reasonable demands but he wants to stay in Italy. He could get 12-15M at Man Utd, easy.

  8. Dybala signing would be FANTASTIC. 28 is definitely NOT too old; also, besides CAM, he can absolutely play RW too — he has played RW many times in his career and I just looked at where he’s played for Juve this year and he has played both centrally and on the right (a significant amount at both positions). We all know he is like Arjen Robben (and our former Suso) being left footed, starting on the right, cutting inside and finding a shooting lane to bend the shot inside the far left post. Dybala is fantastic at this. He can get assists and he can score and if we can take him away from Juve and keep him from going to Inter (our 2 biggest rivals for Scudetto next year), then this is an ABSOLUTE NO BRAINER. He plays well in the 2 positions where we are weakest right now, he’s in his prime and he’s a world class player.

    PLEASE SIGN HIM!

  9. As for Ousmane Dembele, PLEASE NO. He is SUPER overrated because he is incredibly inconsistent and lazy. He often loses concentration and just doesn’t show up half of the time. He does have great natural talent; but it is going to waste.

PLEASE NO TO DEMBELE! I’d actually much rather have Moussa Dembele (the player on Lyon) who is much more consistent and harder working and of course would be FAR FAR cheaper. (I have no idea if Lyon are looking to move him or not… just saying, same last name but IMO the “better” Dembele)
