Report: Eintracht willing to sell defender for €12-15m as director responds to Milan rumours

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could well secure the signing of Evan Ndicka for a cut-price fee this summer, according to the latest reports from Germany.

Milan are in the market for a new centre-back and after being linked extensively with Sven Botman (who eventually joined Newcastle United) and Japhet Tanganga of Tottenham, the latest hot name is Ndicka of Frankfurt.

According to what is being reported by German paper Frankfurter Rundschau (via Pasquale La Regione), Eintracht’s sporting director Markus Krösche responded in a coy way when asked about the situation involving Milan, stating: “Let’s see what happens.”

Meanwhile, the Frankfurter Rundschau go on to report that Eintracht Frankfurt have not yet received an official offer for the 22-year-old centre-back, but given that his contract will expire in less than a year they would be willing to let him leave for a fee of around €12-15m, which is well below what his actual market value would be.
