AC Milan appear to have wrapped up the signing of Juan Miranda from Real Betis, at least according to a report that has emerged from Spain.
According to El Gol Digital, Betis sporting director Ramón Planes knows that Miranda now has no intention of signing a new deal with the club, and his current one will expire at the end of the 2023-24 season.
There are various different clubs that have inquired about the 23-year-old full-back but there is one team in particular that got out in front of the others and it is Milan.
The report adds that if nothing goes wrong, Miranda ‘will be a new Milan player in the 2024-25 season’ and this is something that has been confirmed both ‘by those closest to him and reconfirmed by the official sources of Betis’.
So, Ramón Planes’ job will no longer be to convince the Spaniard to stay at the club but to find a replacement for him. For this he already has two names in question: Marcos Alonso and Javi Galán.
