Evening Standard: Milan among the clubs ‘tracking’ outgoing Chelsea striker

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have once again been mentioned as one of the clubs interested in signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Chelsea in a report from England.

According to a report from the Evening Standard, Chelsea are looking into ways they can offload both Aubameyang and Romelu Lukaku, with the Belgian having been ‘offered £16million-a-year deal’ to join Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

Lukaku wants to leave Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis and the 30-year-old’s agents met officials from Al-Hilal in Paris on Monday, but the on-loan Inter man has ‘expressed a reluctance to move to Saudi Arabia’.

Meanwhile, Aubameyang is also being targeted by clubs in Saudi Arabia including Al-Ahli. The author Nizaar Kinsella tweeted to say that the Gabon international has Saudi Arabia’s big four clubs (all backed by Newcastle owners and state investment fund PIF) keen on him.

However, he will have options to stay in Europe too as Barcelona, Besiktas, Inter and AC Milan are ‘tracking him’, while Los Angeles FC in the MLS are keen as well.
