CM: Fulham star a concrete target for Milan but Arsenal and Liverpool provide competition

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to look for young talents who they can invest in for the future and Fabio Carvalho of Fulham remains a target, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com are reporting that Carvalho ‘continues to be at the centre of Milan’s attention’ as scouts have been impressed by what they have seen from the 19-year-old attacking midfielder in the Championship so far this season.

However, it will be a far from straightforward operation if Milan do decide to turn their admiration into a concrete pursuit because two Premier League sides are keen on signing the teenager; namely Arsenal and Liverpool.

Carvalho was heavily linked with a move to the latter on deadline day but the deal could not be completed before the window shut at 11pm. He spent time in the Benfica academy and has amassed 13 goal contributions in the Championship this season playing in the attacking midfielder role for the league-leaders.

  1. Now this right here is what I’m talking about. 7 goals 6 assists in 27 games @ 19 years of age is divine. Leao didn’t boast of such stats at this age.
