Father of Fenerbahce full-back reveals Napoli and Milan ‘have already contacted us’

By Oliver Fisher -

The father of Fenerbahce’s Ferdi Kadioglu has revealed that AC Milan and Napoli have both made contact over a possible deal for his son.

Kadıoğlu actually grew up in the Netherlands and spent his time as a youth player with NEC in the Dutch Eerste Divisie before signing for Turkish Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe in 2018, playing mostly with their U21 team before making his debut for the senior side in December 2018.

He currently has no goals and one assist in 16 appearances across all competitions so far in the current season, but it must be noted that he has played mostly as a right-back or a left-back rather than further up the field.

Now, the player’s father – Feyzullah Kadioglu – has given an interview to the microphones of the Turkish source Hurriyet about what the future might hold for his son, with his comments relayed by Calciomercato.com.

“Napoli and Milan have already contacted us and we are pleased with the interest of big clubs. The priority remains Fenerbahce, we want to win the title here. If the club gives us the green light then we will evaluate the market options,” he said.
