Alessandro Florenzi’s first few weeks at AC Milan were not easy but he has since become a valuable resource the club are keen to keep, a report claims.
Florenzi arrived on a one-year loan from Roma with an option to buy and the hope is that he would provide solid cover on the right flank, but he ended up missing a month due to knee discomfort that made him undergo surgery.
MilanNews writes how Stefano Pioli found himself with an extra starter-level player when the Italy international got back to full fitness. When Davide Calabria was out due to a muscle problem he did well at right-back, and given the absence due to disqualification for Theo Hernandez against Sampdoria he filled in at left-back too, and has also played as a right winger too.
Florenzi is convincing everyone and his permanent signing is already being planned. The amount established for the option to buy during the summer was €4.5m, but it cannot be excluded that in the coming months the management ask for a discount from Roma, who see no part of him in their plans.
Why would roma dismiss a versatile player like that? His an established player with vast experience and good adpatability. It will be good to permanently sign him
