Tuttosport: Florenzi is waiting to see if Milan want to buy him from Roma or not

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan defender Alessandro Florenzi is waiting to see if the club will buy him from Roma this summer or not, a report claims.

As has been reported by Tuttosport today, the Italian defender has already made it clear that he would like his loan spell at Milan to be made permanent so he can continue with the Rossoneri next summer.

Milan have the power to make that happen if they pay the Giallorossi the agreed on transfer fee of €4.5 million.

Given the club has been in the process of getting taken over by RedBird Capital Partners, issues such as Florenzi’s future have been somewhat pushed to the side.

The takeover was made official on Wednesday morning though which means more focus can be put on outgoings and incoming in the transfer market that officially starts on July 1.

He made 24 appearances for Milan last season in Serie A, scoring twice. He also featured in the Champions League and Coppa Italia.
