AC Milan must soon make a decision on the future of Alessandro Florenzi but the player has seemingly made his will clear, a report claims.
MilanNews report how Florenzi has just ended his year with the second trophy of his career, lifting the Scudetto with Milan after the 2021 European Championships he won with the Italian national team.
The contribution of the full-back was important and highly appreciated by the Rossoneri management both for the versatility he showed, playing three positions during the campaign, but also the leadership that he demonstrated.
There do not seem to be any problems regarding his future as Milan ahve every intention of exercising their option to buy which is set at €4.5m. The Rossoneri would like to try to lower it, but it is unlikely that Roma will give any discounts, though that should not be an issue.
The latest statements made by the player to Milan TV seemed to firmly express a desire to stay at Milan and continue his story, which is merely in its first chapter.
“It’s my first Scudetto: it’s a unique emotion. It was a very exciting season, we deserved to win. We hope to add other trophies in addition to this. With Pioli we have a great professional and human relationship. He was truly the architect of all this,” he said.
“We must continue to keep up with him, trying to carry his ideas forward. I knew what I could give. Maldini and Massara created a perfect mix. can continue like this, trying to increase the quality of the team and always improve.”
