Paulo Fonseca stated that he would have no issues bringing youngsters into the first-team picture if he needed to, and in today’s training session, several AC Milan youngsters were present.

One of the big highlights from Wednesday’s frustrated words was Fonseca’s threat, or better yet, the promise of youth exposure if his senior team were not up to the standard required, a message backed by his preference for more players like Francesco Camarda.
Throughout his management career, the Portuguese has often placed faith in young talents, and we have seen this so far with his usage of Camarda, but the striker could be joined by some of his youth teammates.
As Milan News writes, Camarda, as normal, trained with the first team today, but he was joined by several Milan Futuro and Primavera teammates: Alex Jimenez, Davide Bartesaghi – who will both be vying for the left-back spot, Silvano Vos, Mattia Liberali, Demirel Hodzic and Chaka Traore.
Imaginably Kevin Zeroli would be involved, however, he is currently injured, which explains his absence.
Whether any of the youngsters will be given minutes this weekend is currently unknown. However, Fonseca was serious in his words this weekend and if there are similar signs shown to midweek, then he will not hesitate to make bold decisions. After all, they have been given their last warning.
