Footmercato: Milan chasing star Bayer Leverkusen and Sheffield United forwards

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are keeping a very close eye on two forwards this summer, one of which plays for Bayer Leverkusen and another at Sheffield United, a report claims.

As has been reported by Footmercato, the Rossoneri are weighing up moves for either Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen or Iliman Ndiaye from Sheffield United.

Diaby has been enjoying a superb recent patch of form in the Bundesliga under the guidance of Xabi Alonso and he is up to nine goals and eight assists in the league this season.

Interest in him also exists from Arsenal, Newcastle United and PSG, his old club.

As for the Sheffield United star Ndiaye, he is still trying to help his side get promoted to the Premier League. The 23-year-old has got 14 goals and nine assists across the league and the FA Cup in 2022/23 and is attracting a lot of interest from existing Premier League clubs already.

  1. Ndiaye from Sheffield is very good. He would fit in nice if Pioli continues to play with a n10 in the line up. Has a very similar style as Brahim but he can actually shoot and pass.
Sheffield has another player that Milan should be after in Sander Berge. Big physical but very skilled midfielder. He had injuries in the past but he has been pretty healthy this year.
They won’t be cheap and I doubt Sheffield will sell them since they will be playing in EPL next season

    1. Agree, with Sheffield most likely having Premier League money they’re not selling either of those at a price Milan can afford.
